These 2 kittens were recently dumped at a feral colony on a wharf. It's a dangerous location even for the ferals, these 2 kittens wouldn't have survived there long. "Mick" is a male, white with black markings, very affectionate & playful. He loves to be held, very friendly. His sister "Jemma" is white with orange markings. She's a bit timid at first (but she's scared of my dog, she's more relaxed when my dog isn't around.) They had their 1st vet visit yesterday & tested negative for leukemia. They've been dewormed & vaccinated. Will be getting 2nd vaccine soon. Mick has been neutered. Please contact Adele Bourque at Clare Feral Friends Society, Saulnierville, Digby Co., NS. 902-260-2048

Adorable Lucy... She is a brown tabby with some white, she tested neg for Leukemia, and positive for FIV (feline aids), so this means she needs a home without other cats. This virus is only passed to others through blood, so better to be the only cat. She can live a nice long life with proper good diet. Definately this sweet girl needs to have a chance at a loving calm home. She is around a year old, and I will be checking next week into spaying her. She has her energy back loves to play - her fur is starting to grow back around her rear. She purrs with happiness and loves to cuddle. To see Lucy, please call Joan, New Beginnings Animal Rescue 452-1254

We're castaway cats who are friends. We won't lie. We've been hard to place because we've had trust issues with people. The good news is, that with time we've learned that people can be trusted. If you adopt either of us, we may be hesitant or may run off and hide. Or we may surprise you...and I guess that depends on you and who you are as a person. We'll observe you, feel it out and with you involved with healing our hearts, we'll learn that together, we're a team and that we're safe in your home and hearts. The thing is too, that we are not going to view well. When you come to see us, we're most likely going to scurry under the coach, or hind behind a chair. We wouldn't be so sure of you in the beginning. You'll just have to trust the fact that with time and love, reassurance and tuna, we'll come around and be all that we are. We haven't been placed for months and months because of this. We have discovered each other and are best of friends. We'll part our ways if we have to, but are kindred spirits. If you have it in your heart, to help a couple of very shy guys, then let us know. We're counting on you to understand our hearts. Visit www.petprojects.ca and fill out an online application to adopt us or email info@petprojects.ca to learn more. Thanks for your interest!

This is "Foxy" in all her glory of her dark face and legs, with her fluffy beautiful tail. She is just over a year old. She is a spayed long hair tortishell, who likes to play a lot, especially if you drag a shoe lace under a mat. She will make you laugh. She does have a bit of felion attitude. She likes other cats and wants to play. Foxy will not back down and likes to stock the others to play. She is something, and smart. She always wants to be near her people, on the back of your chair or beside you. She seems to really like men, and wants to get into their laps. A flirt at heart!!! Inquire about Foxy to 452-1254.
